Product Description
Double twist netting/Hexagonal wire netting
Double-twist netting is the basis of any protection against rockfalls.It is used:
on cliffs (hanging or fitted netting), to line rockfall protection screens (installed on the uphill side, it blocks the passage of smaller stones), as a barrier (netted screen in the case of very low energy values), as a deflector screen for small stones.
The major characteristics of double-twist is that it prevents the meshes from coming apart if a wire snaps.Our double twist netting, which comes with:
different wire diameters: 2.4 – 2.7 and 3 mm
with different types of corrosion protection:EN 10244-2 class "A" reinforced ga anisation.Galfan coating (alloy comprising 95% zinc, 5% aluminium and traces of misch metal); the working life is thus multiplied by 3 in comparison with rich ga anisation,PVC coasting on class "A" ga anised wire
different mesh sizes:60 x 80 mm - 80 x 100 mm - 100 X 120 mm
The normal dimensions for rolls are 4 m wide and 50 m long.
