The hexmesh supply, tight clinch is furnished unless otherwise specified. In this type of fastening hexmesh formed bars are mechanically locked together with lugs which protrude through slots on the adjacent formed bars and are clinched. Tight clinched is used for smaller diameter applications and is formed along the length of the bars to diameters as small as 12" using power rolls.
Loose clinch is used when the hexmesh panel is formed manually across the width of the bars to a maximum inside diameter of 42 inches. |
